Esapolis Exciting New Beginnings for Kids and Adults. The new customized Virtual Reality, App and video experience makes the museum tours more exciting for kids and adults.

The Padova Living Insects Museum, Esapolis, has reopened its doors. During the months of closure forced by the pandemic, Esapolis has renewed its activities thanks to the European project MUS.NET. (MUSeum NETwork) funded by the Creative Europe programme.

At the Open Day on June 19th, from 10 am to 5 pm the visitors can discover the new attractions for free. Starting from June 19th, three new tools are going to be available to the visitors:

a video which tells the history, the activities, and the collections of the museum informing about Esapolis and the museums of the project network;

– a user friendly App that innovates the approach to the collections, engaging the visual, sensorial and emotional spheres of the visitors. The App is integrated with videos, comments, and photo captions to make it accessible also to visually impaired people;

– a Kids Corner equipped with the Draw Alive software that creates a magical place in which children can unleash their imagination.

MUS.NET. Open Days will be organized until April 2022. The first round of Open Days is going to take place in four different venus across the partner network in June and July 2021.

The 19th June 2021 Open Day is free. Admission is limited due to the Covid regulations. Visitors are required to reserve their visit at No. 049 8910189.
